Climb the bridge’s gatehouseĬlimb up the ladder and observe the cutscene. After the first lot are down, head through a gate and cut through another group. You should have Ghost Stance available after slaughtering all the enemies on the hwacha, so use it to defeat the Brutes with little trouble. Drive the enemy across the bridgeĭispatch the latest array of Mongols, who are a mix of swordsmen, Brutes and archers. Head down the ladder and run towards the bridge. Eventually, Yuna will tell you that there are no more left. Then aim to the left below you in the next courtyard, then finally up ahead near the bridge where the next batch is congregating. First, clear the courtyard directly below you, spamming until they’re all dead. This is a fun section where you just rain fire down on Mongols with. This objective returns, except this time you are manning the hwacha. Push forward and defeat the Mongol forces After this, turn to your left, climb the ladder up the watchtower and easily dispatch the two archers. You’ll have a few Brutes to take out along the way, and then have to climb up some boxes to proceed. A white circle will appear on the ground to see where the flaming projectiles will land, so make sure to avoid those. Just like you did in the “Message in Fire” mission, you need to make your way to the hwacha machines while dodging their fire. Scout ahead of your armyĬlimb up the ladder to the left of the gate (the one you might have used to take out the Fire Archers) and loot the room for ammo and then head through to see a cutscene. Once they’re out the way (either by hitting them with your own arrows or climbing the ladder to take them out), focus on the soldiers on the ground using your best techniques and Ghost Stance if necessary. A good idea would be to run to the back of the area and to the next gate, as Mongol fire archers will be up there and if you don’t take them out quickly they’ll pepper you with fire arrows constantly and make short work of your health. You’ll then burst through and have to make your way to a third gate with the largest Mongol force yet. After that, you’ll have to fight to another gate with more of the same Mongols. After you kill them all, push forward to the gate for a cutscene where you will burst it open with a battering ram. Take them out with your arrows (aiming for the explosive barrels will help). There will be enemies requiring all four stances, but your priority should be the archers on the battlements ahead. You’ll start right in the middle of battle and have to defeat a swathe of Mongols. Push forward and defeat the Mongol forcesĪfter a cutscene, you will arrive at Castle Shimura. Head inside the watchtower and up the ladder to meet Lord Shimura. Speak with Lord Shimura at the watchtower
