12/27/2022 0 Comments Grim dawn family matters![]() This is in no way meant to challenge their rights, and is purely a non-profit work of fan fiction.ĪUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a DARK fic. Thanks for the skill suggestions! I will think them through.DISCLAIMER: While this story stemmed from my objections to where they took Buffy the Vampire Slayer from season 6 on, but I can not deny the genius that first made such a wonderful show. I think this is still the case since my stat sheet shows 0 physical damage. I invested heavily into Oleron since I thought all that sweet physical damage gets converted into pierce. Blades of Nadaan ups piercing by 100% ergo that 50% becomes > 100% too which converts ALL physical into pierce. I have resist gear stashed in case I need to swap out.Īlso, I did some research and theorycrafting on this before. I purposefully chose this build as a sort of character flaw for my hero. I'm a cunning whore due to me thinking it'd be cool for Crits back then. I'll think over using Shard of Beronath since it uses Elemental Damage from Physical so I might just have piss-poor numbers. Cadence likewise procs Deadly Momentum which I couldn't pass up. I had to at least place 1 point in Whirling Death since it had so many + skills from my items. In crucible, I use it to get out of agro.Ĭadence only goes off only on the third hit so the other two hits can proc the other Nightblade procs. I can rush through mobs by SS'ing one and Blitzing to the next in runs for example. I use SS and Blitz primarily for mobility and to get out of sticky situations. ![]() Thank you for the reply! This is very enlightening and helped me mull over my decisions closely. ![]() Your damage is clearly high enough to deal with mobs, you just gotta survive. If you respec out of Cadence, consider getting Warcry, Break Morale + the fear modifier, it'll boost your survivability because mobs aren't hitting you when they're feared.īasically you just need more survivability in terms of CC and resists. ![]() ![]() Consider reallocating your Cadence skill points into more defensive skills and either use default attack, or use Beronath's Shard component to change it.Ĭonsider at least 1 point into Ring of Steel + Ring of Frost modifier, it helps greatly against packs of mobs, freezes them and allows you more time to kill them before they kill you.Īlso consider 1 point into Blade Barrier for ohshit moments. You can't proc any of those attacks on the Cadence attack, so the chances you get to proc those are significantly lower than if you didn't have Cadence. That could be fine, but you have very little defensive measures as well (low resists), you're gonna die a lot.Ĭadence's 3rd proc overrides the entire top row of Nightblade procs. You have almost no defensive devotions aside from Dryad. I'm not sure how the +physical damage interacts with the 100% armor pierce, but if it adds physical before converting to pierce, that'd be pretty good, if it doesn't, then your Oleron's devotion might be better else where. If you wanna do Crucible on higher levels, you're gonna have a difficult time. If you're just playing storyline I guess that's fine, you'll die a lot more often though. You have 88 points into Cunning (Holy shit that's a lot of Cunning) You run Cadence with all Nightblade procs ![]()
